Our story

A practice built after watching generalist agencies miss the point.

Continuum Bio, LLC was founded after years of watching talented scientific teams hand their brand to generalist agencies — and watching those agencies flatten everything distinctive about the work into stock photography, vague mission statements, and ad copy that could describe any SaaS company on earth.

The core problem wasn’t budget. It was translation. A research-stage biotech, a reagents supplier, a diagnostics startup, and a lab software vendor all have fundamentally different buyers, cycle lengths, and evidence bars. Treating them the same way you’d treat a DTC e-commerce brand produces pretty decks and no pipeline.

We built Continuum Bio to be the opposite: a small, senior team that can sit inside a scientific company’s world, learn the product well enough to defend it in a real conversation, and then build acquisition systems around evidence the buyer will actually trust. We stay small on purpose so the senior people you meet in the kickoff are the ones who still own the work in month six.

Most of our clients sit somewhere in the broader life-sciences ecosystem: preclinical and research-stage biotech, reagents and research supply, diagnostics and assay platforms, CROs and lab services, and the software companies that support the same buyers. A few are adjacent — medtech, health-data tooling, scientific publishing — and we take those case by case.

What they share is a product that doesn’t explain itself in a headline, a buyer who can smell unseriousness in one paragraph, and a sales cycle long enough that the easy performance-marketing playbook produces mostly noise.

We’re not the right fit for

  • Regulated medical advertising

    We do not produce claims for regulated drug or device advertising, and we do not replace regulatory, legal, or medical affairs review. We work alongside those functions, not around them.

  • Clinical or regulatory consulting

    We are a marketing practice. We don’t advise on trial design, FDA submissions, CE marking, lab accreditation, or any adjacent regulatory workstream. Clients should retain specialists for those.

  • Pure brand-only engagements

    We love brand work, but we only take it on when it’s attached to a real acquisition or pipeline goal. Logos without a system around them aren’t our best use.
